A very special 'thank you' to Leo O'Sullivan, the owner of Pak 'N Save Petone. Leo provided the thousands of sardine tins the project needed for the 'sardine smoothies' that sustained the chicks while they were being cared for on Matiu/Somes Island.

Pub Charity's financial contribution meant the project was fully funded throughout the three years. We thank Pub Charity for their generous donation as it ensured the project achieved a very successful outcome.
